Greenwich Public Schools Official Announces Resignation
Mary Forde, the district's chief pupil personnel services officer, has announced she will be leaving her position this year.

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Public Schools announced Wednesday that Mary Forde, the district's chief pupil personnel services officer, will be leaving her position this year.
According to a news release, Forde is scheduled to leave her position June 30 following a 24-year career working in service to the students of Greenwich.

"Our staff's creativity and commitment to the 'power of possibility' allows students with and without disabilities the benefit of an education in a school system that values every learner," Forde said in a news release. "I will remember the team fondly, and will miss working alongside them in partnership with our parents and community. Together, these groups offer invaluable perspective and unyielding energy to the world of education. Working with my colleagues, our district parents and our community partners has been a true honor."
A reason for Forde's resignation was not provided. The district's human resources department will post the position in the near future.
