Greenwich Restaurant Week 2020 To Kick Off With Party

GREENWICH, CT — The 6th annual Greenwich Restaurant Week will officially start on Friday, March 6, and will kick things off with an opening party held a couple days prior. During the week-long event, which is presented by Greenwich Magazine, many of the participating restaurants will offer special prix fixe menus that cost $19.99 for lunch and $39.99 for dinner.

Last year's restaurants were packed with patrons, so people are advised to make reservations in advance to guarantee a seat, according to a press release.

The festivities will start on Wednesday, March 4, with an exclusive opening night cocktail party at Tony's at the J House in Greenwich from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. During the party, which will feature live music by DJ Kunjan, guests can sample a variety of tasty tapas and light bites, sip creative cocktails by local mixologists and rub elbows with top Greenwich chefs.

Tickets must be purchased in advance, and a portion of the proceeds from tickets sales will benefit the Transportation Association of Greenwich (TAG), an organization geared towards providing transportation services for elderly individuals and the disadvantaged of all ages.

Participating restaurants this year include: Appetit Bistro, Beach House Café, Bella Nonna, Coast Seafood, Eastend, Eugene’s Diner, JS Restaurant Group (South Bay Greenwich and Harvest Wine Bar and Restaurant), La Taqueria, Le Penguin, Le Fat Poodle, Little Pub Greenwich, Lugano, MIKU Sushi Bar and Restaurant, Myx Creative Kitchen, Saltaire Oyster Bar and Fish House, TAUK kitchen + bar, The Little Beet Table, Tony’s at the J House, Townhouse, Z Hospitality Group (Terra Ristorante Italiano, East End and Mediterraneo.)
