Greenwich School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

GREENWICH, CT — The first day of school in Greenwich is August 30 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP.The Greenwich School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 11/21: Early Release
• 11/22 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

• 12/6: Early Release (Elementary Conferences)
• 12/11: Early Release (Elementary Conferences)
• 12/13: Elementary Conferences
• 12/24 - 12/31: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1: No School (New Year's Day)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/11 - 2/15: No School (Winter Break)
