Greenwich Woman Accused of Causing Disturbance at Town Hall: Police
The incident allegedly occurred in July.

GREENWICH, CT — A 46-year-old Greenwich woman was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass in connection with an altercation in Town Hall where she allegedly threw a letter in the face of a town employee.
Division Street resident Saima Qamar was arrested on a warrant on Aug. 5 and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Aug. 12. During her processing at police headquarters, she refused to be fingerprinted and was additionally charged with that, according to police.

In the July 15 incident, Qamar also allegedly screamed profanities at the employee, reports the Greenwich Time.
She reportedly has had a contentious relationship with the town, primarily over a construction project at her home.
