What About Dorian Impacts On CT?

The latest models continue to show Dorian passing well south and east of Connecticut but it may be close enough to bring some strong wind gusts and some rain to the area on Friday night/Saturday morning.

The National Weather Service says, "Mainly dry conditions return Thursday into Thursday evening. Friday and Friday night, there will be another chance of rain as Dorian passes well southeast of the region. Winds are expected to increase and become gusty, especially over Eastern Long Island in the range of 35 to 45 mph."

"This will likely set up some rough ocean surf as well. Rain will be likely over Eastern Long Island and Southeast Connecticut with some of the rain becoming locally heavy in these areas."
