Frost Advisory, Rain Now Possible Sunday: CT Weather
The National Weather Service issued a frost advisory for most of Connecticut Saturday morning.

CONNECTICUT — A hazardous weather outlook and frost Advisory are in effect for most of Connecticut Saturday morning as temperatures will drop like a rock tonight and flirt with freezing. It also appears that rain may enter the picture on Sunday due to an off-shore storm moving nearby, but that remains uncertain currently, local meteorologists say.
A frost advisory is in effect from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday for southern Connecticut, minus the immediate coast, as temperatures will fall into the lower 30s and result in frost formation.
In Hartford, Tolland and Windham counties, the frost advisory is in effect from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday as temperatures fall into the low 30s. In southern Litchfield County, a frost advisory is in effect from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday as temps will be around 33 to 36 degrees.

A silver lining in this cold forecast is that the winds will begin to let up somewhat later today but there is increasing concern that there might be some rain showers on Sunday.
"Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy into the afternoon, with clearing expected late in the day," the National Weather Service says. Temperatures will be a few degrees below normal with highs ranging from the middle 50s inland to around 60 near the coast.

"The winds will diminish tonight under mostly clear skies. Temperatures will average below normal with lows in the lower to middle 30s across the interior and the upper 30s to lower 40s
closer to the coast. High pressure will settle over the region on Saturday leading to plenty of sunshine and a few degrees below normal in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees.
"Low pressure passes south of the area on Sunday with Mostly cloudy skies and a low chance of showers in the afternoon near the coast."
Happy Friday! Windy at times today (not as bad as yesterday) & cool with mostly 50s. A few spots hit 60 degrees. A frost advisory is up for much of the state Sat. morning. Saturday is our pick of the weekend. You can blame Nestor for messing up Sunday-rain is now in the forecast. pic.twitter.com/8vUgkccfMW
