Here's A List Of Memorial Day Weekend Events In Greenwich

After most plans were cancelled in 2020, there are several events taking place around town this weekend.

GREENWICH, CT — The Town of Greenwich has released an updated list of Memorial Day events happening around town this weekend.

May 29 @ 10:30 a.m.: Cos Cob VFW wreath laying ceremony on Strickland Road – opposite Greenwich Historical Society.

May 30 @ 2 p.m.: Byram Veterans Association parade and wreath-laying.

May 30 @ 5 p.m.: Glenville Volunteer Fire Company parade and wreath-laying.

May 31 @ 8 a.m.: American Legion Post 29 ceremony at IHYC.

May 31 @ 9 a.m.: Must assemble at 9 a.m. as downtown OG will be shut down; 10 a.m. parade kickoff.

May 31 @ 10 a.m.: Memorial service Eugene Morlot Park, adjacent to Dorothy Hamill Rink.

May 31 @ 1p.m.: Chickahominy Reunion Association ceremony outside Hamilton Avenue School.

Greenwich Town Hall will be closed Monday, May 31 and will reopen for regular business hours at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1.
