GREENWICH, CT — Join the Pemberwick Glenville Association on Saturday, June 26 at Pemberwick Park for an invasive plant removal day. Attendees will be cutting vines that are growing up and killing trees in the open area beyond the playground. Where possible, they will dig up the roots of the vines so they don't grow back.

The event will also be educational, as guests will learn to tell the good vines from the bad. The activity will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The plant removal will be supported by the Greenwich Parks Department, as they will provide staff with power tools and a dumpster to throw the debris into.
