GREENWICH, CT — A Greenwich family is asking for help locating their beagle, Baby, who has been missing for nearly two days. According to a Patch Neighbor Post from the dog's owner, Maryellen Ahneman, Baby was last heard howling on Doubling Road around 1:30 a.m. Monday morning.
Baby is white, brown and black colored, and weighs approximately 27 pounds. According to Ahneman, Baby is not wearing his tags, only a harness.
"He is not easily caught, but he would never hurt his captors," Ahneman said. "Baby is a gentle soul. He is dearly missed at home."

According to Ahneman's daughter, Alexandra Leighton, anyone who sees Baby is advised not to call the dog to them, as he will likely run away. Instead, she advises walking up to the dog and "grabbing his harness."
Ahneman also said the family is offering "a handsome finder's fee," and anyone with information is asked to contact her at 772-559-6850.
