Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Greenwich Crash: UPDATE
Police said a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a crash with a vehicle in Greenwich.

GREENWICH, CT — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash with a vehicle Monday afternoon in Greenwich, police said.
According to Lt. Mark Zuccerella, the collision was reported around 2 p.m. on Lake Avenue at its intersection with Rock Ridge Avenue.
Police responded to the area and determined the motorcyclist had sustained a "serious injury" to his leg. He was then taken to Stamford Hospital's emergency department for treatment, Zuccerella said. (To sign up for Greenwich breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

"The [motorcyclist] was listed as being in serious condition due to his injury, but is likely to recover," Zuccerella said in an email.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured. No charges have been specified at this time, Zuccerella said.
