New Baseball Coach Named At Greenwich High School

He is a former Stamford High School student-athlete and previously coached at New Canaan High School.

GREENWICH, CT — A veteran coach and educator has been named the new head coach of the Greenwich High School baseball team. The school's athletic director, Gus Lindine, announced this week that Adrian Arango will replace Mike Mora, who resigned at the end of last season after "many successful years" as head coach.

For the last several seasons, Arango has been a member of the New Canaan High School baseball and basketball staffs, where he assisted in leading the boys to a state basketball championship.

Arango has coached baseball on multiple levels, including head coach, assistant coach and instructor, and has assisted in "developing many fine athletes" over the years, according to a statement. He has also worked as an educator at various Stamford elementary schools since 2012.
