Obituary: Susan E. Kohloff Limbacher, 65, formerly of Greenwich

Susan, always remembered for her smile, laugh, sarcasm and humor, was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.

GREENWICH, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Susan E. Kohloff Limbacher, 65, of Milford, died unexpectedly May 10, 2021 at a Yale New Haven Hospital.

She was born March 9, 1956 in New Rochelle, NY the daughter of Paul H. and Mary Elizabeth (Emanuel) Kohloff.

Susan graduated from Greenwich High School, in Greenwich CT.

Throughout her life, Sue wore many hats. Anyone that knows Sue will remember her smile, laugh, sarcasm, and her ability to make anyone laugh at the drop of a dime.

She was admired for being unapologetically herself, warm and outgoing, with an uncanny ability to bring light and joy to anyone in her presence. Sue truly loved her family and friends and spent a lot of her time with them, especially with her mom and daughter.

She loved connecting with people, the beach, and as we all know Sue adored her dog, Kahlua, and treated her like a second child. It’s extremely heartbreaking that Sue left us so soon, but she will always be remembered and will be missed many.

In addition to her father, Paul Herman Kohloff, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Kurt Limbacher and brother Paul Kohloff. Survived by her mother, Mary of Milford, CT; daughter, Courtney and her fiancé Maurice, granddaughter, Mia of Stratford, CT; brother, Kevin of Florida; nephews, Kyle of Florida and Paul of Greenwich, CT and many extended family members.

Family and friends are invited to a walk-through wake on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
