Greenwich, CT, April 22, 2019: Greenwich Art Society presents noted artist and instructor Karen Blackwood for a very special two-day workshop with one day in the studio and one day in plein air at our studios and Tod’s Point. A successful painting is Alive! It evokes emotion and draws the viewer in. This two day workshop will focus on what is essential in seascape painting and painting in general. Basic art principles will be demonstrated and discussed as well.

Founded in 1912, the Greenwich Art Society is the oldest visual arts organization in Greenwich, Connecticut. The society’s Studio School offers classes by professional artists, providing traditional and foundational visual arts education for children and adults.
