Police Seek ID Of Dog That Bit Child At Greenwich Park

Police said the child was injuries and faces ongoing preventative care because the dog's rabies vaccination status is unknown.

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Police and Animal Control officers are asking for the public's help identify a dog that bit a local child in Binney Park on Sunday. Police said the child suffered minor injuries and faces ongoing preventative care because the dog's rabies vaccination status is unknown.

The dog is described as a medium-sized golden retriever with "reddish fur." The animal's handler was a woman in her late twenties, police said.
