Registration Open For 2019 Greenwich Summer Baseball
The program is for children between the ages of 6 and 12.
From The City of Greenwich: Greenwich Recreation announces that registration for summer baseball will be open starting Monday, May 13 online. Online registration is only available to Greenwich residents. To register online go to: www.greenwichct.gov/webtrac. Mail-in registration begins Monday, June 3. Mail-in registration should not be postmarked earlier than June 3.
In-person registration begins Monday, June 17 and is open to non-residents. Registration closes on Friday, June 28 or when the program has filled. Summer baseball provides three playing divisions: Pinto, co-ed for ages 6 & 7, Mustang, co-ed for ages 8 & 9, & Bronco, for boys ages 10 through 12. The Pinto division is instructional coach-pitch for beginners. The Mustang division incorporates combined player & coach pitching as well as instruction during game-play. The Bronco division is player pitch with more formal playing structure & rules.
The summer baseball season will begin on July 8. Teams will participate a couple nights per week and the season ends around August 16. Teams will have practices and games on weeknights only on Greenwich Town fields.
