Registration Open For Greenwich Summer Camps

From the Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation: The Department of Parks and Recreation wants to remind you that the last day to take advantage of the ‘Early Bird’ sign up period for our 2017 summer camps is May 31. Fees go up on June 1. The following programs are being offered this summer:

Greenwich Summer Adventurers: A co-ed program for children ages 8-15 that runs from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Three different age groups can participate in trips to nine locations including Lake Compounce, Brownstone Discovery Park, and Splashdown Water Park. The Early Bird fee for Session 1 (June 27 – July 21) is $400 and the Early Bird fee for Session 2 (July 24 – Aug 11) is $365 with a 2nd child discount of $20. Kamp Kairphree: A co-ed program for children ages 5-12 that runs from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. This program operates out of the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center in Old Greenwich and includes a visit to Island Beach every Wednesday (weather permitting). The Early Bird fee for each 2-week session (Session 1: June 26 – July 7, Session 2: July 10 – July 21, Session 3: July 24 – Aug 4, Session 4: Aug 7 – Aug 18) is $280 per session, with a 2nd child discount of $20. Music & Art Camps: Two programs located in the Greenwich Public Schools that run from June 26 – July 28. Our Music Camp for children entering grades 4-8 (pre-requisite of at least one year of study with an instrument) runs from 9:00 AM – noon, Monday to Friday. Our Art Camp for children entering grades 4-8 has a morning and afternoon option. The morning class runs from 9:00 AM – noon, Monday – Friday and the afternoon option runs from 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Afternoon art is only open to those enrolled in morning music). Online Registration: Online registration is only available to Greenwich residents. To register online go to: www.greenwichct.org/webtrac and select “Activity Registration”. In person registration is available at the Town Hall Parks and Recreation Office weekdays between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
