Riverside Native Inducted into Omicron Delta Epsilon

Phillip Hoeps, of Riverside, has been inducted into the Economics Honor Society at Eastern Connecticut State University.

From Eastern Connecticut State University: 13 high-achieving economics students at Eastern Connecticut State University were inducted into Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE), the international honor society for economics, at the conclusion of the 2016-17 academic year.

Among the inductees was Phillip Hoeps '17 of Riverside, who majors in Economics and Political Science.
ODE is among the most prestigious and oldest of the academic honor societies. It seeks to recognize and reward distinguished achievements in economic science. The honor society is governed by an international executive board and sponsors selective research initiatives, publishes its journal, "the American Economist," and recognizes achievement through various awards.

Eastern Connecticut State University is the state of Connecticut's public liberal arts university, serving more than 5,300 students annually at its Willimantic campus and satellite locations.
