Second Champion A Champion Golf Classic To Be Held In September
The second annual event on Sept. 20 will help benefit programs within the Global Citizens Initiative, and the Matsui 55 Baseball Foundation.

GREENWICH, CT — After it was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Global Citizens Initiative (GCI) and the Matsui 55 Baseball Foundation will host the second annual Champion A Champion Golf Classic on Sept. 20 at the Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich.
The event will help raise money for youth empowerment programs to nurture the next generation of global and ethical leaders at GCI and Matsui 55.
GCI is a Greenwich-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational enterprise which aims to empower young global citizens from all sectors of society to be lifelong leaders of positive change. Matsui 55, which was created by former New York Yankee legend, Hideki Matsui, is a nonprofit organization which encourages healthy and active lifestyles through the game of baseball.
