'Smash-And-Grab' Burglars Hit Pharmacies On Greenwich Avenue

Two pharmacies on Greenwich Avenue were burglarized over the weekend.

GREENWICH, CT — "Smash-and-grab" burglaries occurred at two pharmacies on Greenwich Avenue in the early morning hours of June 20, Greenwich Police said on Monday.

According to the addresses listed in the department's police blotter, the crimes took place at Grannick's Pharmacy at 277 Greenwich Ave., and Greenwich Pharmacy at 116 Greenwich Ave.

Police do not yet have a list of the items that were stolen. Capt. Mark Zuccerella noted that other towns have experienced similar burglaries recently. The GPD's Detective Division is in contact with police agencies in those areas.
