Stolen Car From Windsor Recovered In Greenwich: Police

Police arrested a 37-year-old Hartford man after the car he was driving broke down, and subsequently came back stolen, according to police.

GREENWICH, CT — A stolen vehicle out of Windsor, Conn. was recovered in Greenwich last Friday.

On June 4 at 1 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the area of Arch Street and Horseneck Lane for a disabled vehicle. According to police, a DMV of the vehicle showed that it was stolen out of Windsor.

The driver, Jhuge Arnold, 37, of Hartford, was located next to the vehicle and was in possession of the keys.

According to the police report, Arnold told officers that he was alone at first, but later said his cousin, "John", was the one driving the car. Arnold could not provide any contact information.

Arnold was placed under arrest and charged with larceny in the third degree, and interfering with police by providing an invalid name and date of birth.

Arnold was unable to post his $10,000 bond, and has a court date of June 18 in Stamford.
