Summer Paving To Start Week Of July 5
This year there are at least 67 roads planned to be paved, according to the Greenwich Department of Public Works.
GREENWICH, CT — With summer officially here, the Town of Greenwich's annual paving program is anticipated to start the week of July 5.
This year, according to a news release from the Department of Public Works, there are at least 67 roads planned to be paved. The program will begin east to west, from Old Greenwich to Byram.
Depending on several factors, such as the weather and contractor schedules, the paving program is projected to be completed in September. The program will be conducted in two phases — milling and asphalt paving.

Police officers or flaggers will be visible during the work to help direct traffic and pedestrians through the work zone. Motorists are advised to use extra caution through work zones. Short term delays may occur, and residents should consider alternate routes when possible.
