Heavy Snow Moving Through Parts Of State Now: CT Weather
Round 2 of snow is moving through the state now and some areas are reporting heavy snow in Connecticut late Monday.
CONNECTICUT — Some areas of the state may call this long duration storm a dud, especially along the coast, but in inland and northern areas of the state the snow has finally arrived and is falling heavily in some spots late Monday. Several inches of snow are now piling up do to heavy, narrow bands of snow, especially in interior sections of the state.
For a couple of days it appeared that not much was happening with this storm outside of Litchfield, Tolland and Hartford county seeing several inches of snow but now snow is breaking out across Connecticut before it tapers off by dawn Tuesday.
Exceptional snowfall rates underway in central CT. Driving is very very difficult now. Some towns could see at 6"-10" of accumulation just from this evening's burst.

Ummmm... look at BDL. Just pouring snow right now. Some areas are going to get crushed this evening if this banding lingers under any one spot. pic.twitter.com/8ql6KV7ycd
