Tree Falls On Greenwich Home, Knocks Out Power
Heavy winds throughout the state caused hundreds to lose power, according to Eversource.

GREENWICH, CT — Heavy winds early Monday morning knocked a tree down onto a home on Arcadia Road near Park Avenue in Old Greenwich, bringing down power lines and causing an outage in the neighborhood, writes News 12.
Park Avenue was closed as a result of the incident, but no injuries were reported.
Across Greenwich, 165 Eversource customers were without power Monday as of 9:55 a.m., or less than 1 percent of those that the utility company serves. Hundreds more throughout the state also lost power Monday.

"Units have responded to several calls for downed trees and wires this morning," wrote Greenwich fire officials Monday on the department's Twitter Page.
A portion of Stanwich Road near Carissa Lane temporarily was closed Monday morning as crews worked to clear it and restore downed wires, according to Greenwich emergency dispatchers.

Additionally, a portion of Round Hill Road was closed but reopened by about 9:45 a.m., and Bailiwick Road was partially closed.
