Water Main Repair Work To Cause Delays In Central Greenwich
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and to expect delays.

Work to repair an overnight water main break on Arch Street in the area of Exit 3 of I-95 will cause traffic delays on Tuesday, July 6, according to an announcement from the Town of Greenwich.
Aquarion Water Company reported the break of a 12-inch main about 1:15 a.m. Saturday, July 3.

Emergency work to repair the main is being done by Aquarion’s contractor, Penna Construction. When that work is completed, steel plates will be put in place.
Repaving of the roadway will not occur until Tuesday, July 6 when asphalt plants reopen after the holiday weekend. The schedule for repaving the entire intersection has yet to be determined.
