After the 2020 season was canceled, the 2021 season is finally underway. The team is starting its season off with positive attitudes, a strong team bond, and a fresh perspective. Their first goal of the season is a successful fundraiser. The weather forecast on Sunday is perfect for a carwash.
The 2021 Guilford High School girls lacrosse team will be holding their annual carwash. This year they will hold their first carwash on Sunday, April 11, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at Palumbo's Automotive. Donations will go to the Guilford High School girls lacrosse program and will be used for equipment, coaches, training, and events for every player.
The team will adhere to the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the State of Connecticut, the state Department of Public Health, the CIAC, the Town of Guilford, and Guilford Public Schools. Although faced with the challenge of COVID-19, they're determined to reach their annual fundraising goal through teamwork.
