Roadwork Across Guilford Begins In Late July. Here's Where
Murray Lane, Podunk Road, Hart Road, and at least 15 other lanes, drives and roads will be affected from the end of July into early August.
GUILFORD, CT — Heads-up, Guilford. Roadwork across town is set to begin late this month.
Murray Lane, Podunk Road, Hart Road, and at least 15 other streets, lanes, drives and roads will be worked on from the end of July into the first couple of weeks in August.

Paving
Paving begins in late July through second week in August on these roads:

Murray Lane – From Clapboard Hill Road to Nortontown Road
Podunk Road – From Orcutt Road to the Madison town line
Hart Road – From Cul-de-sac to the Sportsman’s Club Gate
Please expect delays. Work has started to prepare the roads. There will be a 2-inch overlay placed over the existing pavement.
Chip Sealing
Chip sealing will take place on the following roads, or portions of roads, between the first and second week of August, weather dependent:
Kenneth Circle, Bruce Lane, Jefferson Drive, Jamestown Drive, Crestwood Drive, Wilderwood Drive, Janeway Drive, Kimberly Drive, Laurel Hollow Road, Oakwood Drive, Orchard View Road, Woodside Road, Brookwood Road, Robin Lane and Old New England Road.
Residents are asked to please refrain from parking on or near these roads during the paving and chip sealing process and to drive slowly through areas where you see loose stone.
