Former Guilford High School Science Wing To Be Renovated For a Use As A Wellness Center: Report

The wing was saved because it was only ten years old.

When the decision was made by Guilford officials to build a new high school, officials chose to renovate the old science wing of the former high school for use as a wellness center, according to a report by the Guilford Courier’s Jack Kramer.

Parks and Recreation Director Rick Maynard said he has recently checked up on the progress of the building renovation and some of the wiring and lighting work has been done but more needs to be completed.

This facility will allow exercise classes with equipment to be offered for the public and school sports teams can also train there, the Guilford Courier reports. The project is expected to be completed by the spring.
