Guilford Agricultural Fair Redefines Traditional

Connecticut's second-longest running fair features pony and horse rides, tractor pulls, a spelling bee, a parade and more.

For the weekend of Sept. 18 through Sept. 20, the Guilford Agricultural Fair will be hosted at 111 Lovers Ln. in Guilford, according to the event’s website.

The Guilford Agricultural Fair is Connecticut’s second-longest running fair, and will feature several different events each day, the website says.

The three-day fair’s overall schedule is as follows:

  • Friday, Sept. 18 from 1 to 11 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sept. 19 from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Sunday, Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

General adult admission for each day is $10, for seniors $8, and $5 for children between the ages of 5 and 11, the website says. Children under the age of 5 are admitted for free. A three-day discount ticket can be purchased for $25.

Parking on-site is $5, but free parking is offered with a shuttle at Exit 57, the website says.
