Guilford Boy, 7, Attempts to Raise $5,000 for St. Jude Hospital
After seeing a commercial on television, a young boy is attempting to raise money for the hospital.
GUILFORD, CT – A 7-year old boy is attempting to change lives by raising $5,000 to donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Fox 61 reported.
Grady Pascucilla was inspired to undertake the challenge after seeing a commercial for the hospital on television and being affected by it, Fox 61 reported. The boy plans to hand deliver the money to Memphis, Tenn. after reaching his goal.
In addition to planned fundraising events, a GoFundMe page has been set up for Pascucilla’s cause, Fox 61 reported. As of Monday afternoon, he has raised $3,030 over the course of 10 months.
