Guilford COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Up And Running
The vaccine clinic will be open every Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Community Center based on the availability of vaccine.

GUILFORD, CT — As long as the vaccine doses are available, every Monday, the Guilford COVID-19 vaccine clinic will operate at the Community Center.
First Selectman Matt Hoey praised Guilford Health Director Sonia Marino and staff, as well as Parks and Recreation staff, police and fire departments - all in cooperation with the East Shore Health District - to set up a vaccine clinic in "record time."

Hoey reported last week that the town has a total case count of 857 and 29 have died. He said citizens must not "let our guard down."

As of Monday, the clinic will be open every Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. based on the availability of vaccine that is received from the state and federal government, he said, and the availability of volunteers to staff the clinic.
As Patch posted last week, there's a call for volunteers to help staff the clinics overseen by the East Shore District Health Department. East Shore health director Michael A. Pascucilla said 300 signed up to volunteer. Those interested in helping must register. Read more here.

Hoey said the Park and Recreation Seniors Program will provide transportation to any Guilford resident who is 55 or older, or disabled, to a vaccine clinic. Please call 203-453-8086 for transportation information and scheduling.
