Guilford Dunkin' Donuts Supports Special Olympics Torch Run
The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Connecticut is a 500-mile route that is run over three days.
From Dunkin' Donuts: Dunkin’ Donuts and Special Olympics Connecticut (SOCT) are teaming up to offer guests a perk and support local Special Olympics athletes. As a thank you for a donation of $5 or more to Special Olympics Connecticut, guests will receive a special edition, refillable mug featuring the SOCT logo. Guests can bring these mugs to participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in Connecticut (excluding Fairfield County) to receive a $1.79* Medium Iced Coffee or XL Hot Coffee refill through August 31, 2017. The refillable mugs will be available at the 2017 Summer Games and related events. The Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant at 556 Boston Post Road in Guilford is located along Leg 8 of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Connecticut. On Friday, June 9, franchisees The D’Andrea Group will celebrate with a tent outside of their restaurant, offering guests free samples and giveaways, while they cheer on the Torch Run.
A SOCT representative will also be on hand with the refillable mugs, collecting donations (while supplies last). The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Connecticut is a 500-mile route that is run over three days, June 7 through 9, and kicks off the 2017 Special Olympics Summer Games. To celebrate the refillable mug program donation, Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees will participate in a check presentation to SOCT on Thursday, July 27 at Dunkin’ Donuts Park, prior to that night’s Hartford Yard Goats baseball game. *plus applicable taxes
