Guilford Firefighters Hailed As Heroes For Saving Man's Life
In late March, Guilford firefighters/paramedics rushed to a call for a man, unresponsive after suffering a heart attack, and saved his life.

GUILFORD, CT — Every day in small towns and big cities across the country, firefighters save lives. It's what they do. Mostly, there's little fanfare or publicity. They just go to work and often, change someone's life forever.
It was that kind of day in late March in Guilford.
On March 30, just after 6 p.m., members of the Guilford Fire Department were called to help. They found a man, unconscious and unresponsive; he'd suffered a heart attack. Firefighters began immediately caring for the man providing him with "advanced life support treatment."
