Guilford Lakes Golf Course Pro Hired Back For 2019 Season
Guilford Golf Commission has made the decision to bring PGA tour pro Mike Papp back for another golfing season.
GUILFORD, CT - Looking to build off the momentum off its most successful season in years, the Guilford Lakes Golf Commission has hired golf pro Mike Papp back for a second year.
Papp was hired for the 2018 season to try and make more mone for the town-owned course.
Papp started a successful junior program and increased the social marketing presence in advertising the course.

The result saw the course, which has struggled to make a profit in recent years despite heavy use, bring in more money for the town in 2018.
The vote to hire Papp back was unanimous.
