Guilford Meals On Wheels Delivered 96 Easter Feasts

GUILFORD, CT — The Guilford Interfaith Volunteers Meals on Wheels program makes sure that every holiday meal is a festive, and delicious one.

Program director Christi Burton makes sure to thank volunteers including familes, donors, students and businesses as well as Guilford chef Larry Santamaria and the "wonderful kitchen crew."

Burton told Patch that 93 Easter Sunday meals were delivered, and those meals included flowers, fresh fruits, and colorful goodie bags.

• Fresh Market for the fruit and water
• Village Green Gardens for the donation of the pansies
• Larry Santamaria and the wonderful kitchen crew for the delicious food
• The board of Guilford Interfaith Volunteers (our board) for decorating the bags and also for making the deliveries. The other families who kindly delivered : The Hart Family, The Rosenberg Family, The Prior Family, The Song Family, Pentland Family, Betsy Borden, and The Degoursey Family.
• The Guilford Elementary schools and The Bovee family for all the wonderful cards
