Jan. 1

Jerome Freeman, 35, of Waterbury, was charged with violation of a protective order and risk of injury of a child.

Jan. 2

Edward Klaus, 36, of Madison, was charged with second-degree assault, second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree breach of peace, reckless driving and evading responsibility with physical injury.

Jan. 4

Lisa Ann Maichin, 54, of Guilford, was charged with second-degree unlawful restraint, third-degree strangulation, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
