Police: Driver Dies After One-Car Crash on Durham Road
A driver was ejected from his Ford Explorer Thursday evening along Durham Road and later died from his injuries, according to police.
Guilford Police are investigating what led to a fatal one-car crash on Durham Road late Thursday evening.Â
Police and EMS responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 900 block of Durham Road at 10 p.m. on Thursday, April 24.
Guilford Police state that the report received was of one car off the road into the woods, with an occupant ejected from the vehicle.  Â
Upon arrival, EMS personnel worked to resuscitate the one male victim that was ejected from the Ford Ranger pickup truck. Â
The man was transported to Yale/New Haven Hospital, where he later died of his injuries. Â
The driver's name is being withheld at this time, police said.  Â
The crash is currently under investigation by members of the Guilford Police Crash Investigation Unit.
