Guilford Recruiting College Juniors, Seniors As Sub Teachers
The school district is looking for upper class-level college students to apply as temporary substitute teachers during holiday breaks.
GUILFORD, CT —In need of substitute teachers, Guilford schools are appealing to college juniors and seniors to apply for those jobs while home on extended holiday breaks.
According to its website, though a bachelor's degree is generally required to sub in Guilford schools, it appears the need for temporary teachers for classrooms trumps the need for the usual educational requirements.
"Guilford is currently in need of substitute teachers. If you are a college junior or senior home for an extended break, consider temporary employment with GPS," the message reads.
