Guilford Students Make University Dean's Lists

Local students earned honors from universities in Florida, Alabama, New Hampshire, New Jersey and New York.

The University of Tampa has honored 1,762 students who were named to the dean's list for the Fall 2020 semester. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list.

The following local students were named to the dean's list:

Chloe Cassar of Guilford, Sophomore majoring in Advertising and Public Relations
Emily Ciocca of Guilford, Senior majoring in International Business and Marketing

Rachel N Sullivan of Guilford, CT (06437), was named to The University of Alabama Dean's List for fall 2020.

A total of 13,128 students enrolled during the fall 2020 term at The University of Alabama made the Dean's List with academic records of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale), or the President's List with academic records of 4.0 (all A's).

Jacob Sabol-Low of Guilford, CT graduated Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire in December 2020. He earned a BS in Biochem, Molec & Cell Bio.

Students who received the honor Summa Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.85-4.0: Students who received the honor of Magna Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.65-3.84; and students who received the honor of Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.64.


Seton Hall University is pleased to announce John LaFrance of Guilford, CT has qualified for the Fall 2020 Dean's List.

After the close of every semester, undergraduate students completing all courses with a GPA of 3.4, with no grades lower than "C", qualify for the Dean's List.
