Guilford Texaco Wins National AAA Service Award of Excellence

It's déjà vu at the Guilford service station which earned a national AAA service award in 2003, 2013, and 2019.

GUILFORD, CT — Guilford Texaco earned a 2020 National AAA/CAA Service Providers of Excellence Silver Award, AAA Northeast announced.

The full-service towing and auto repair facility, a family-owned business, won the award in the medium-sized facilities category.

Guilford Texaco is no stranger to national awards. In 2013 and 2019 the facility earned a National AAA Gold Service Provider of Excellence Award, while in 2003, they earned a Silver Award.

This year, it was one of 376 competing service providers from the US and Canada in the program that recognizes dedicated automotive professionals who consistently provide excellent service and assistance to AAA members.

“We congratulate Guilford Texaco, who excelled in areas of performance, such as member satisfaction, community involvement, and overall value to the AAA road service and repair networks,” Carl J. Pella, AAA manager of field operations said in a news release.

"They're definitely a world-class service provider; and they’re highly focused on the AAA Member Experience from the beginning to the end of a service event,” Pella said of the station owned by Jimmie and Ernie Betulia.
