​Hazardous Weather Outlook​ Issued For Guilford Wednesday

Isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms​ and damaging winds are possible, the National Weather Service said.

GUILFORD, CT — Hazardous weather is possible Wednesday in Guilford, the National Weather Service reported Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Weather Service, parts of southern Connecticut, including Guilford, could see isolated to scattered severe thunderstorms Wednesday. Damaging winds up to 21 miles per hour are possible. The area's chance of rain is 70 percent.

The threat of storms tapers off before midnight Wednesday, but showers will continue through Sunday when mostly sunny skies with a high near 74 degrees are likely.
