Health Director Sonia Marino Receives Employee Recognition Award From Town Of Guilford

Health Director Sonia Marino is the March recipient of the Town of Guilford Employee Recognition Award. Sonia’s tireless efforts in combatting the effects of COVID-19 on staff, schools, and the community, as well as her coordination in setting up vaccine clinics in Guilford, has gained her this recognition.

According to First Selectman Matt Hoey, “Since joining our team in the middle of the pandemic, Sonia has exhibited an outstanding commitment to protecting our community, effective leadership of her team and the other departments in responding with a great deal of passion. In short, she has done an outstanding job.”
