Kangaroo Rescued, Now Who's Missing This Likely Oft-Hugged Toy?

GUILFORD, CT — Susan Dallas headed out earlier than usual Wednesday morning to run errands. It was her son's 16th birthday and the plan was a birthday breakfast. So off to the Rt 1 Big Y she went.

"Normally I wouldn’t go," out so early in the morning, she told Patch. A bit of serendipity in effect, perhaps. Or just plain old fortuitousness. "Funny how things happen," she said.

Dallas spied out her car window a "sweet little fur baby laying on the side" the road near the Boston Post Road McDonald's. She made it to Big Y, but turned around.

"I made it all the way to the grocery store parked turned off my car and couldn’t help but think that some little person went to bed missing their 'lovey' ...I had to turn around and go back to get her," Dallas posted to Facebook in hopes of reuniting the stuffed animal with its owner.

"Hopefully we can find her proper owner! She looks well loved and has been hugged on a bunch, I can picture a car window being open and it 'accidentally' getting thrown out by a little one sitting in a car seat. Please, please help find her family!"

So far, despite her post being shared almost 2,000 times, still, no word.
