Local Chambers of Commerce Honor SARAH Inc.

SARAH Inc. was named the Community Service Organization of the Year by the Hamden Regional, Old Saybrook, and Shoreline Chambers of Commerce.

The organization is proud to be an active member of the local Chambers of Commerce in its service areas. Each local Chamber offers a Community Service Award to recognize the sustained efforts of an organization for its contributions to the community. This is SARAH’s mission as well - to enhance skills and enrich lives for people of differing abilities across generations and to help make our communities a better place to live and work for everyone.

Our dedicated employees work hard every day to put our mission into action for the children and adults we serve and their families in communities across the state” Executive Director, Patricia Bourne said in a press release. “We cannot do what we do without the support and encouragement of our local chambers, our business partners, volunteers and our many other friends and benefactors. We accept these awards on their behalf, and thank each chamber for this extraordinary honor.”
