Obituary: Charles A. Rubino, 74, of Guilford, Formerly New Haven
A USPS worker for years, he was active with Special Olympics and carried the torch in '95. He loved Elvis, the Yankees and The 3 Stooges.

Charles A. Rubino of Guilford, formerly of New Haven, died Wednesday June 16, 2021, at Apple Rehab of Guilford.
Charlie was born November 17, 1946, in New Haven son of the late Carmen and Anna Redente Rubino.
He worked for the U. S. Post Office in New Haven for many years prior to retiring. Charlie was very active with the Special Olympics competing in many events. He also carried the Olympic Torch at the Special Olympic World Games when they were in New Haven in 1995.
He loved the Three Stooges, Elvis, the Yankees and the San Francisco 49ers.
He is survived by his brother Frank Rubino of Southington, his sister Cindy Thomas of East Haven; his nieces and nephews, Jill, Dawn and Chris Rubino, Greg Thomas, Jr., and Kim Thomas; and many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wives, Rosemary and Cindy Rubino.
