As with anything in her life, she loved building relationships with people. Whether it was with her students or patients, she wanted to make them feel loved. However, the majority of the time she was a stay-at-home mom to her two children.
Kathy is survived by her son Scott Stickney and his wife Allison of Butler, Pennsylvania; her daughter Keri Climie and her husband John of Guilford, Connecticut; 6 grandchildren, Beatrix, Anabel, Scout, Peter, Bodhi and Martin; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her two brothers, Albert Paduano and his wife Andrea, and David Paduano and his wife Cheryl.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, David Stickney. Poppy was surely waiting to greet her, unless there was a golf match, fishing, or the Red Sox playing in heaven. Also her parents, Albert and Theresa Paduano.
Kathy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and there was nothing she liked more than cooking large Italian meals for family and friends. She prided herself on making unique birthday cakes for her grandchildren each year.
Private family ceremonies will be held at a later date in Connecticut and Western New York.
