Formerly of East Haven, before retiring, he worked at the Shop & Shop warehouse for many years and was a member of the Army National Guard.

Kenneth A. Pfeiffer, Sr., 91, of Guilford formerly of East Haven passed away June 4, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Husband of the late Frances Massaro Pfeiffer. Beloved father of Kenneth A. Pfeiffer, Jr. of Derby. Cherished grandfather of Ashley Rios and Kenneth A. Pfeiffer, III. Loving great grandfather of Izianna and Cecily Rios. Caring brother of Gloria Pfeiffer, Alice DeCarlo, and Peggy Russo all of Guilford, George Pfeiffer of East Haven and the late Robert and William Pfeiffer.
Ken was born in Woodbridge on May 31, 1930, a son of the late William and Margaret Caruso Pfeiffer. Prior to his retirement he worked for Shop & Shop Warehouse in North Haven for many years. He was a former member of the Army National Guard.
His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Wednesday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call TUESDAY from 5:00-7:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 355 Foxon Rd., East Haven, CT 06513.
