Obituary: Robert R. Brinley Sr., 64, of Guilford
Bob, who worked as a carpenter for many years in Florida and on the Connecticut shoreline, was an avid fisherman and motorcycle enthusiast.
Robert R. Brinley Sr., 64, of Guilford passed away on May 11, 2021 at home. He was born on September 9, 1956 to William Sr. and Marge (Britt) Brinley.
He grew up in Guilford and attended Guilford High School. Bob worked as a carpenter by trade for many years in Florida and on the Connecticut Shoreline. Bob was an avid fisherman and a motorcycle enthusiast. He was also a member of the Masonic Corinthian Lodge #63 of North Haven.

He is survived by his children, Melissa (Gregory) Sok, Robert Brinley Jr., Kate (Robert Barnes) Brinley, and a beautiful new granddaughter, Skylar. He is also survived by his brother, Tony Brinley, sister, Candy Southerland, former wife, Janet Brinley and his beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, William A. Brinley Jr. and Kenneth Brinley.
Bob also leaves behind many cherished lifelong friends and healthcare workers who have cared for him.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Bob on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 6 to 9 P.M. at the Stony Creek Brewery in Branford.
