Obituary: Scott M. Steahle, 50, of Guilford

Scott M. Steahle passed away on February 2, 2021 from complication of diabetes. Scott was born in Derby on October 17, 1970, son of Aida (Ferrante) Steahle and the late Eugene P. Steahle. Loving father of Cailan and Braedan Steahle. Brother of Kathleen Steahle and her partner Anna Rodonski. Nephew of Michele Ferrante. Scott was a longtime resident of Guilford and resided in Mystic CT. He is survived by his Mother Aida, Sister Kathy Steahle and Aunt Michele Ferrante. His two children Cailan and Braedan and his former Wife Shannon of Clinton CT.

Scott grew up and attended the Guilford Schools. Scott is a 1989 graduate of Guilford High School Immediately following high school received his Automotive Technical Associates degree from Porter and Chester Institute. He was employed by Jerry’s Transmission in Guilford. Then went on to work on generators. He learned and developed his trade while employed by several major generator companies. At the time of his passing, Scott was self-employed and the owner of Shoreline Generator based out of Clinton CT.

He enjoyed spending time with his children. He looked forward to their days of fishing or having picnics at the beach. The family feels blessed to have been able to spend and share Christmas with Scott and the children. He was so Happy. Scott was truly a “Great Guy” He was a Passionate and Kind Soul. He could fix anything to help someone out at any time of the day. He will be missed by his family and the many lives he impacted.

Scott loved being with his children, especially fishing and beach picnics. A great guy who could fix anything, he was a passionate and kind soul.
