Madison Woman, 25, Killed In Fiery Crash On I-95 In Guilford
The victim's identity has been released according to State Police.
UPDATE: Remy Johnston, 25, of Durham Road in Madison has been identified as the victim who was killed in the early Saturday morning fiery crash on Interstate 95 in Guilford, the New Haven Register and other media outlets reports.
Johnston was a passenger in the car that ended up leaving the roadway by Exit 57 and the vehicle ended up down an embankment, crashing into trees before it burst into flames.
The driver, Bridget Nicholson, 25, of High Field Lane in Madison, was taken to a local hospital after suffering injuries. The accident remains under investigation.

GUILFORD, CT — One person was killed after a car crashed on Interstate 95 in Guilford early Saturday, according to reports. The accident occurred just before Exit 57 when the car veered off the side of the road by the exit ramp, according to WTNH News 8.

A 25-year-old woman drove the car and suffered minor injuries, according to reports. A 25-year-old woman, who was the passenger, was found dead after the fire was put out, WTNH News 8 reports.
Troop F in Westbrook is investigating the crash.
