Registration is Open for Spring 2021 Classes Shoreline Adult Ed
Free GED®, English, & Citizenship Prep classes are offered, plus dozens of affordable enrichment courses.
(GUILFORD, CT) - Shoreline Adult Education announced open registration for their catalog of free and highly affordable classes. Those interested in enrolling can do so online at shorelineadulted.org or call their Branford office at (203) 488-5693.
FREE ACADEMIC PROGRAMS: open to adult residents of Branford, Clinton, Guilford, and North Branford. Individuals outside of our four-town region may register for a small non-refundable fee of $50 per semester/$75 per year.
- High School Diploma / GED®: three program options are available for individuals interested in earning their high school diploma. Classes begin January
- ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages): non-English speakers from over 50 countries learn to better comprehend, speak, write and use English at work and in their daily lives. Courses for families with young and school-aged children, as well as technology certification programs are also offered. Classes begin January 19
- Citizenship Preparation: a comprehensive two-semester class designed to support adults in their pathway to U.S. citizenship. Classes begin January 19
AFFORDABLE ENRICHMENT CLASSES: Shoreline Adult Education has partnered with local business owners and instructors to offer 74 enrichment classes between January and June. In-person and virtual courses are open to the public. Courses include "Estate Planning 101," "American Sign Language," "Helping the Body Heal Naturally," "Retirement Planning Today®," "Beginner Crochet," "Intro to Computer Basics and Google," "Outdoor Nature Photography," "Power Barre," and "Intro to Ayurveda Cooking."
